The Romano Tracks

These tracks were composed over a two-month period, either for or about a specific person, sometimes during moments of great emotional distress. Tracks are listed in ascending order of composition date and form an immutable part of my body of work.

Plant By The Window: I like doing natural light photography so this picture helped inspire the track. Some people are like a potted plant. They can't move to care about others. You have to keep adding water and nutrients to get them to respond.

Parting Words - An Artist's Emotional Storyboard

Sometimes, we cross paths with people who don’t align with our values, drain our energy, or simply don’t treat us as we deserve. It can be tough to recognize, especially if there’s history or emotional investment involved. The distortion in the higher frequencies is deliberate to indicate emotional distress.

I originally posted this last week (Mon Apr 21, 2025) but removed it after being accused of gaslighting. However, stating the truth is not gaslighting. Naturally, I had reservations about re-posting something so personal on the internet. Yet, those reservations were completely unbound from what happened on Wednesday, March 30, 2025.

As an artist, I am granted a wide berth in what I can say and do in the name of artistic expression. I have decided to re-post this since it is not identifiable to any specific individual. It could be the story of anyone who behaves this way toward another person. It also serves as a reminder to disengage with people who display any of these behaviors.

This is my story—my story to tell.

Thank you to everyone who came by to listen to this track. This is what happens when you become emotionally attached with someone who self medicates their ADHD/Depression with Hashish. Only later did I find out this person had a reputation for anger/rage issues.
