Latest Tracks Vol II

Most recent recordings made in my home studio in the last year. No multi-tracking or bounced tracks. These are live recordings of free form composition sessions. No DAW or computer assistance was used.

Arranged by most recent date.

Quietly Distressed - Ambient soundtrack: Something I have been meaning to get around to.  Please keep in mind this was created by someone who scored a D- in finger dexterity and poor on rhythm memory. Distantly inspired from the “Lord Jim” soundtrack, combined with my personal photographs of the suspension bridge in Waco, TX that inspired the Brooklyn Bridge with the ending showing the Waco springs. I was also an early adopter of Kodak Digital Color Science photography.

Lead in sound - Akai MPC Key 61, background wind chimes - Korg Wavestate SE, Asian guitar, bass, wood drums - Polyend Synth, background wood and plastic cup percussion sounds - Polyend Step, chord bumps - Akai MPC Key 61. Played all together as a real time, live recording. Wed Jun 11, 2025

Tales of the Lamb’s Ears: This track is an artistic interpretation of two soundtracks, “Mr. Brooks” and “One Hour Photo,” blended together with personal photographs of a native Tennessee plant, Lamb’s Ear.

Played on one synth, the Polyend Synth with the Polyend Step drum machine playing the “Loser” pattern. No additional effects. Live recording. Sun Jun 1, 2025
