12/01/2003: Perhaps you came to this website because you heard the announcement over the air; "you've been listening to Lakeside Radio on the net, fabradio dot com" and was curious - what is Lakeside Radio?  "Lakeside Radio" is the land based relay of what is played on the net.  If you live in the very back of Lakeside you might be able to hear it on 92.5 FM.  It covers a couple of blocks.  It is a very tiny FM stereo transmitter (just about the power of a walkie talkie) going into a precisely tuned antenna (SWR 1.3:1).  We are  now on the air and the net as "FabRadio" a name and website that more reflects the music we are playing.  We abandoned using KBTL since that is really a call sign in use by someone else and it seemed misleading to continue using it since we're not really a full powered, licensed radio station.
